Hörbergsgården, Klovharun, and Pellinge Nytt
Pellinge Hembygdsförening is an active, local heritage association with a modern touch in its activities. We are present at the Pellinge summer market with our products each Saturday during the summer months. We work in close collaboration with other local associations and entrepreneurs. We coordinate and market events, arrange a Midsummer day party in June and children’s party in July. Various other events also take place on the museum premises during the summer such as exhibitions and coffee parties in connection with the church services in the chapel next door. One of our major tasks is to administrate and look after the cottage on Klovharun that Tove Jansson donated to the association in the early 1990s. Our member magazine Pellinge Nytt is published in Swedish three times a year. We are a member of the Swedish Local Heritage and Museum Association of Uusimaa and the Finnish Nature and Environment association.
